Selon une enqu\u00eate publi\u00e9e par le <strong data-start=\"444\" data-end=\"484\">Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ)<\/strong>, les banques disposent de leur propre bar\u00e8me pour d\u00e9finir la richesse. Trois grandes cat\u00e9gories \u00e9mergent : les <strong data-start=\"596\" data-end=\"613\">clients ais\u00e9s<\/strong>, les <strong data-start=\"619\" data-end=\"629\">riches<\/strong> et les <strong data-start=\"637\" data-end=\"653\">ultra-riches<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"658\" data-end=\"1400\">Un client est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme <strong data-start=\"688\" data-end=\"711\">\u00ab affluent \u00bb (ais\u00e9)<\/strong> \u00e0 partir de <strong data-start=\"724\" data-end=\"755\">100 000 euros de patrimoine<\/strong>, et ce jusqu\u2019\u00e0 1 million. Vient ensuite la cat\u00e9gorie des <strong data-start=\"813\" data-end=\"854\">\u00ab High-Net-Worth-Individuals \u00bb (HNWI)<\/strong> ou \u00ab riches \u00bb, qui concerne les personnes d\u00e9passant le million d\u2019euros. Enfin, les <strong data-start=\"938\" data-end=\"986\">\u00ab Ultra-High-Net-Worth-Individuals \u00bb (UHNWI)<\/strong>, qualifi\u00e9s d\u2019ultra-riches, franchissent le seuil impressionnant de <strong data-start=\"1054\" data-end=\"1077\">30 millions d\u2019euros<\/strong>. Ces rep\u00e8res ne sont pas fig\u00e9s : l\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 la banque priv\u00e9e peut d\u00e9buter d\u00e8s <strong data-start=\"1155\" data-end=\"1172\">150 000 euros<\/strong> dans certains \u00e9tablissements, tandis que d\u2019autres fixent la barre \u00e0 plusieurs millions. Comme pour les voitures, on parle de <strong data-start=\"1298\" data-end=\"1320\">gammes diff\u00e9rentes<\/strong> et d\u2019une mont\u00e9e en luxe progressive, selon les propos de Philippe Vayssettes.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1402\" data-end=\"1459\">Pourquoi les banques pr\u00e9f\u00e8rent les clients \u00ab ais\u00e9s \u00bb<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1460\" data-end=\"1952\">On pourrait croire que les banques concentrent leur attention sur les ultra-riches, v\u00e9ritables g\u00e9ants financiers. Pourtant, ce n\u2019est pas le cas. Selon Felix Germann, associ\u00e9 chez McKinsey &amp; Company, la <strong data-start=\"1662\" data-end=\"1707\">tranche la plus rentable pour les banques<\/strong> se situe entre <strong data-start=\"1723\" data-end=\"1755\">100 000 et 1 million d\u2019euros<\/strong>. En somme, ils b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient d\u2019un juste \u00e9quilibre : <strong data-start=\"2235\" data-end=\"2309\">des privil\u00e8ges exclusifs sans les contraintes de gestion tr\u00e8s pointues<\/strong> que demandent les patrimoines colossaux.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"2354\" data-end=\"2415\">Un traitement sur-mesure pour les riches et ultra-riches<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2416\" data-end=\"2861\">Lorsque le patrimoine d\u00e9passe le million d\u2019euros, les besoins financiers deviennent plus sp\u00e9cifiques : optimisation fiscale, diversification internationale, gestion d\u2019actifs complexes\u2026 Le suivi prend alors une tournure beaucoup plus <strong data-start=\"2649\" data-end=\"2679\">individualis\u00e9e et co\u00fbteuse<\/strong> pour l\u2019\u00e9tablissement bancaire. Dans cette configuration, les clients HNWI et UHNWI disposent d\u2019un conseiller unique, d\u2019une relation p\u00e9renne et de services hautement personnalis\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2863\" data-end=\"3297\">Cependant, cette attention sur-mesure ne signifie pas n\u00e9cessairement que les banques privil\u00e9gient ces profils. Leur gestion demande du temps, des comp\u00e9tences sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9es et repr\u00e9sente donc une charge plus lourde pour l\u2019\u00e9tablissement.
